Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the ETF Technology team in EMEA, based in London.

You will drive secure, scalable Java/Oracle solutions across UCITS ETF platforms and partner with ETF product strategy, portfolio management, and middle office to deliver business-critical technology. You will own complex development tasks, promote best practices in CI/CD and production support, and contribute to AI-enabled engineering while maintaining high-quality code and strong

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with enterprise experience.
• Advanced Java with Oracle/SQL and scalable development.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, testing, and production support.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to learn ETF and finance concepts; ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develops secure, high-quality production code using Java, Oracle, and SQL.
• Delivers technical solutions supporting UCITS ETF business across platforms.
