Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within Cash Asset Management to push the limits of trusted market-leading technology. You will be a core technical contributor delivering solutions across multiple areas to support the firm's objectives.

You will design, develop, review, and secure production code, while guiding teams in enterprise AI-assisted development and secure coding practices to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools with validation of outputs.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Execute creative software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems.
Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
Drive team adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
Apply SDLC tooling to improve automation and value.
