Job summary

MRP Global is seeking a Lead Java Engineer for a long-term engagement in the West Midlands, offering a hybrid role with 2 days onsite. You will lead Java-based service design and delivery, working with Spring, Kubernetes and cloud integration technologies.

Active BPSS Clearance is required or obtainable. You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure delivery from design through production in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• BPSS clearance or ability to obtain UK security clearance.
• Strong commercial experience with Java.
• Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with platform integration and modern cloud technologies.
• Experience creating Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
• Proven technical leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving and solution design skills.
• Experience working within Agile engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite in the West Midlands, working primarily with Java, Spring, Kubernetes and platform integration technologies.
