Job summary

Hybrid work is offered with three days in the City office and two remote days.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and leading the modernisation of payments, FX or core banking platforms.
• Experience with a stack, platform, data, or support environment is important.
• Designing software architecture for large-scale distributed systems using cloud-native patterns.
• Strong understanding of agentic AI development tools and how to implement them.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture for Java AWS agentic AI initiatives in London.
• Collaborate with Team Leads to support architectural choices across the business.
• Modernise architecture to support an agentic, AI-enabled Target Operating Model.
• Design and implement architectures for cloud-native, distributed systems with orchestration patterns.
