What you’ll doWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in emerging technology. The ideal candidate would possess a broad understanding of emerging technologies and their applications. Including practical knowledge of AI components and techniques such as Agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) using vector databases, guardrails, and large language models (LLMs). Cloud deployment knowledge would be advantageous.
The position involves collaboration with various partners and teams within Vodafone, leveraging the extensive knowledge across the company to guarantee the seamless integration and functionality of emerging technologies within our products and services.
You would be part of a newly formed team focusing on SIM & Emerging Technologies within the IoT Connectivity Technology organisation looking to drive forward new technology to deliver business value to maintain our lead in global IoT connectivity .

What's in it for youYearly bonus: 10%
Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/sell/carry over 5 days/year

Maternity leave: 52 weeks: the first 13 weeks are fully paid, followed by 26 weeks of half pay
