Job summary

Royal London in Alderley Park is seeking a lead iOS engineer to drive delivery in a dedicated app area. You will combine hands-on SwiftUI/UIKit work with task coordination, mentoring and guiding engineers across mobile, API and platform teams to shape the evolution of our mobile experiences.

You will influence engineering practices, collaborate on API and backend integration, and promote high standards while growing the capabilities of the iOS function.

Qualifications

• Expertise in SwiftUI and UIKit essential.
• Proven software engineering background in native mobile tech.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs/backend services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of native iOS features and enhancements.
• Coordinate technical tasks across a small development team.
• Guide and mentor engineers to build capability and maintain high standards.
