Job Description:

Our client, a leading company in the renewables sector, is seeking a Lead Interface Engineer to join their team working on offshore wind projects. Responsibilities include identifying and managing technical interface risks, developing and maintaining interface management tools and processes, and coordinating regular interface meetings with suppliers and work packages.

This is a contract position with a hybrid home/office working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identification and management of technical interface risks
• Development, application, and maintenance of interface management tools and monitoring processes
• Review of technical specifications and scope
• Coordination of regular interface meetings with suppliers and work packages
• Planning and implementation of work packages such as mock-ups, test pieces, and trials required for design development

Job Requirements:

• Experience in delivering large projects with multiple interfaces between work packages and technical disciplines
• Significant experience and knowledge of the offshore wind industry
• Well-organized with excellent communication and record-keeping skills
• Strong coordination skills, highly motivated, competent, resourceful, and detail-oriented
• Intercultural communication and negotiation skills
• Commercial awareness with experience in contract negotiation and management
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel across Europe
• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• Ability to work offshore (e.g., BOSIET / HUET & EBS certification)
