Job summary

3t Training Services is seeking a Lead Instructor to be located at Orsted’s East Coast Hub facility in Grimsby, England. The successful candidate will have a strong background in safety critical training and a good understanding of GWO products.

The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, with a 7:30am to 4:00pm pattern, and involves designing and delivering state-of-the-art safety training for current and future technicians at the East Coast Hub.

Qualifications

• Qualifications Level 3 award in teaching (or higher).
• Level 3 award in assessing (or higher).
• GWO BST (Offshore) (in-date preferable).
• GWO EFA (in-date preferable).
• GWO ART(in-date preferable).

Responsibilities

• To deliver courses as required in line with 3t and accrediting body requirements, primarily GWO.
• To design and develop a Maintenance of Skills package collaboratively with Orsted.
• To support customers during course delivery as appropriate.
• To obtain positive feedback following course completion in line with KPIs set within personal development plan.
• To participate in standardisation and continuing professional development as required.
• To locally manage equipment and resources ensuring fitness for purpose, statutory inspections, ordering and replacing where necessary.
• To provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriate.
• To support growth through technical input to new courses, training standards, customer meetings and the continual improvement of existing courses.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment
• Apply 3t and Orsted HSE Policies and Procedures
• Ensure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are adhered to at all times
• Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and procedures
