Qualifications
Experience in an Insight Analytics or Risk Analytics role within Financial Services.
Direct exposure to consumer lending products (e.g. loans, credit cards, mortgages).
Strong understanding of credit risk, profitability and customer behaviour.
Advanced analytical skills using SAS and SQL.
Experience working with large, complex data sets.
Proven ability to take an analytics project from problem definition through to business recommendation.
Knowledge of FCA regulation and working in a regulated lending environment.
Responsibilities
Partner with senior stakeholders to translate complex business needs into actionable analytics.
Lead end-to-end analytical projects across secured and unsecured lending.
Design, build and maintain robust data products including tables and views.
Develop, deploy and maintain predictive and forecasting models.
Deliver insight across consumer behaviour and marketing effectiveness.
Support regulatory programmes ensuring high standards of data accuracy.
Collaborate with global analytics teams to develop shared data products.
Clearly communicate conclusions, risks and recommendations.
