Qualifications

Infrastructure Engineer - London - £30,000 to £40,000

We are working with a leading technology integrator who are involved with some of the leading projects in their field.

You will oversee the installation, termination, and testing of structural cabling system across projects. Knowledge of the infrastructure and installation in all aspects of a project is essential as well as having the ability to liaise with the entire project team, onsite contractors and sometimes clients.

Travel is required throughout the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities
  • Read, understand, and interpret the schematics, construction drawings and our internal systems.
  • Ensuring the delivery of equipment, consumables, and tools for assigned projects.
  • Installation and termination of structured cabling systems.
  • Overall running of the infrastructure tasks of a project, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running, labour requirements and deadline management.
  • Maintain communication with the project team and liaise with site contractors and or clients.
  • Maintain accurate up to date information regarding overall on-site progress.
  • To be able to set standards on a project and quality control the installation of infrastructure projects.
  • Understand the intent of the project and assist any other team to allow their work to progress whilst on the project to help achieve this.
Experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of cable certification.
  • Competence in the use of cabling certification tools, using tools like LinkWare Live.
  • Vast experience of running projects and able to run large complex projects.
