Job summary

A London-based multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering team as an Associate. You will lead complex projects, review designs and mentor engineers while developing client relationships.

With a strong pipeline of rail, transport and built-environment projects, the role focuses on leadership, technical assurance, project governance and growth of the department, reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE required.
• Minimum 10 years’ civil/structural engineering experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals.
• Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards.
• Experience leading projects and managing a team.
• Experience in project financial management and commercial awareness.
• Experience contributing to bids, tenders or fee proposals.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design and ensuring CDM Regulations compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight across infrastructure projects.
• Review designs, manage risk, and ensure quality and governance.
• Lead work winning, client development and fee proposals.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for integrated infrastructure design.
