Job Title: Lead Infrastructure Engineer
Salary: £70,162 plus an additional recruitment and retention allowance of £5,720 per annum
Work Hours: Full-time (37 hours/week, Monday-Friday) or part-time (minimum 30 hours), flexible or compressed hours available

Role Overview
Are you ready for a dynamic role that involves unique IT infrastructure challenges? You will manage facilities and infrastructure supporting evaluation engineers in conducting detailed validation tests, collaborating with partners to develop high-quality infrastructure solutions that support security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support infrastructure systems aligned with product development strategies.
- Engage with multiple departments to achieve shared objectives and influence technical direction.
- Build, support, and maintain infrastructure in collaboration with Cyber Security and Digital Forensic teams.
- Lead infrastructure teams, make strategic decisions, and oversee various platforms and systems.
- Design and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions, including VMware vSphere, Windows Server, and Linux systems.
- Maintain infrastructure systems, networks, and services.
- Manage infrastructure assets, including RF Mast architecture and associated antenna and cabling.
- Lead project planning, conduct product trials, and support the administration of bespoke evaluation infrastructure.
- Contribute to asset management, equipment procurement, and maintenance schedules.
- Support facilities like RF screened rooms, 5G test ranges, WiFi 7, Bluetooth, and NB-IoT/LTE-M technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience leading infrastructure teams and designing enterprise infrastructure.
- Technical expertise in VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Linux, and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) is beneficial.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and Security+ are desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to analyze information, identify risks, and resolve issues efficiently.
