Job Description:

Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Desktop Migration – Up to £450 per day Inside IR35

Our client, a leading fund manager, is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.

This role supports a large-scale desktop migration programme across UK and European offices. Initially, you will work with end-user architects to refine the migration strategy, before becoming technically involved in executing the migration.

To be successful, you’ll need experience in the desktop migration lifecycle, including coordinating teams, troubleshooting issues, ensuring successful data transfer and system functionality, and managing risks and stakeholder communication.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience as an Infrastructure Engineer
  • Experience working with Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Knowledge of migration tools and methodologies
  • Experience within financial services is highly desirable

This is an exciting opportunity to join a programme of work which is expected to continue through to mid-2026.
