Job summary

A global assurance and risk management firm is looking for a Senior / Principal HVDC System Design Consultant to develop innovative HVDC transmission solutions. This role requires a master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, along with hands-on experience in HVDC projects. You will partner with teams on international projects, provide expert guidance and support, and deliver high-quality reports and proposals to customers. The position offers flexibility in work location across several cities in Europe, including Bristol and London.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in HVDC projects, including different project development phases.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., IEC, CIGRE, IEEE).
• Experience simplifying complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual designs for HVDC systems and conduct feasibility studies.
• Lead simulations and system studies for HVDC systems.
• Prepare specifications and support tender processes.
