Job Description

Join JLR's Charging Group as the Lead HV Functional Safety Validation Engineer, based in Warwick, UK. You will ensure the functional safety of charging systems across all JLR products, reviewing safety requirements, developing test cases, and validating designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ISO26262 and ASPICE standards, delivering reliable solutions for our customers. Be part of shaping the future of electric mobility and innovation in vehicle safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate activities among stakeholders for safety verification.
  2. Standardize approaches and solutions across projects.
  3. Ensure safety targets are met for charging systems.
  4. Collaborate with electrical, chassis, and software teams to meet safety standards.
  5. Work with software teams to ensure control logic complies with ISO26262 parts 4, 6, 4&5.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Experience in functional safety testing for HV control systems.
  2. Leadership in safety validation activities.
  3. Knowledge of ISO26262 verification and validation clauses.
  4. Ability to develop and implement validation processes.
  5. Experience reviewing control system requirements and designs for validation readiness.
