Summary

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Lead Hospital Pharmacist/Deputy Pharmacy Manager to join an outstanding private hospital in Kent, affiliated with one of the UK’s premier healthcare providers. This independent hospital boasts cutting-edge facilities and innovative technologies, delivering prompt, safe, and high-quality patient care.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be qualified Pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC).

Key Responsibilities

Lead medication safety with a monthly seminar for clinical staff.

Oversee medication management and medicines optimization.

Maintain precise documentation during clinical pharmacy activities.

Assist in reviewing and developing department SOPs to ensure high standards.

Professional communication with service users.

Active participation in multidisciplinary teamwork.

Develop and maintain pharmacy expertise.

Monitor pharmacy charging for accurate revenue capture.

Deputize for the Pharmacy Manager when needed.

Skills and Experience

4 years post-registration clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Evidence of continuous professional development.

Ability to inspire and lead healthcare delivery.

Build credibility with key stakeholders.

Establish working partnerships within a clinician-led organization.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £48,000 – £50,000 per annum.

Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm).
