Aldwych Consulting in London is seeking a Senior/Principal Highways & Infrastructure Design Engineer to lead a new development infrastructure team. You will deliver detailed highways and drainage designs for developer clients and help shape the team around you.

The role involves taking projects from concept through to detailed design and technical approval, covering highways, drainage and flood risk. A clear progression path to Associate and leadership awaits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Significant experience in development highways and infrastructure design.
• Experience delivering detailed highways design (S278/S38).

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed highways and drainage designs for development projects.
• Lead projects from concept through to technical approval.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers; help recruit a team.
• Coordinate with developers, authorities and stakeholders; prepare design packages.
