Job summary

New Terrain Grading, the sitework division of J. Davis Inc., seeks an Equipment Operator Level Three to drive skid steers, mini excavators, dozers and trucks on our civil construction projects. You’ll work with the project team to operate equipment safely and efficiently.

You will read civil drawings, follow CEPSI reports, perform daily maintenance, and uphold safety standards under OSHA guidelines. A strong team player with a can-do attitude is essential, with OSHA 10 preferred but training

Qualifications

• Operates skid steers, dozers, mini excavators and trucks safely.
• Reads and interprets civil drawings and CEPSI reports.
• Maintains equipment and follows safety protocols per OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid steers for fine grading and loading.
• Run mini excavators for trenching and erosion control.
• Maintain daily equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and read survey stakes.
