Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Construction Laborer / Utility Installer for site work. The role involves digging, installing sewer, water, and underground utilities, grading, and working with grade-control tools.

On some tasks you may operate a 6-wheel dump truck and assist with excavation and site prep. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with underground utility installation, excavation, and general site work.

Qualifications

• Previous construction/site-work experience required.
• Experience installing sewer, water, underground electric, septic systems, or other underground utilities.
• Strong understanding of excavation and underground utility installation.
• Ability to read and maintain grade/elevation.
• Experience using a laser level or grade-control equipment.
• Ability to safely operate or work around excavators, loaders, compactors, and other construction equipment.
• 6-wheel dump truck driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, digging, shoveling, and working in trenches.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Load, haul, and distribute materials around job sites.

We are a growing construction company specializing in site work, excavation, underground utilities, and septic systems, and we are looking for a dependable, experienced Construction Laborer / Utility Installerto join our team.

This is a hands-on, versatile positionfor someone who is comfortable working in the field and can take on a variety of responsibilities. The ideal candidate has experience with underground utility installation, excavation, grading, and general site work. On certain jobs, the employee may also operate and drive a 6-wheel dump truck.
