About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role which will support clinical excellence, and help shape the future of our practice.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Eventually Lead the nursing team day-to-day, managing rotas and workflow
  • Assisting vets in surgery, consultations, and inpatient care
  • Upholding high standards in hygiene, patient monitoring, and infection control
  • Mentoring student nurses and supporting junior staff
  • Ensuring accurate patient records and RCVS compliance
  • Supporting stock control, equipment checks, and SOP development
  • Fostering a positive, collaborative team culture

What We're Looking For

  • RVN status with 3+ years of clinical experience
  • Leadership or mentoring experience (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A calm, compassionate approach to patient care
  • Comfortable with Exotics
