As the Lead Hardware Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company that is constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

  1. Designing PCBs using FPGAs, SoCs, high-speed network interfaces, and analogue/RF signal filtering
  2. Simulating and implementing signal, image, or data processing algorithms in VHDL for FPGAs
  3. Performing schematic capture using OrCAD
  4. Managing PCB layout, fabrication, and assembly subcontractors
  5. Setting up PCBs including writing test firmware and software
  6. Developing Linux device drivers for hardware
  7. Mentoring and leading others
  8. Having experience in at least one of the following: complex PCB design, FPGA development in VHDL, or software development in embedded C/C++
  9. Being self-motivated and capable of working independently
  10. Having a strong academic background
  11. Possessing strong verbal and written presentation skills
