About the Role

TRRC is seeking a Lead Green Energy Advisor with extensive experience in Corporate Renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs and Virtual PPAs). The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be proactive in engaging with new target accounts, and possess international exposure. The role involves interacting with financial and operational management of counterparties.

Company Overview

The Green Recruitment Company partners with a large multinational consultancy focused on clean electrification. The company aims to create affordable, secure, sustainable energy systems. They are a global energy and sustainability advisor working with commercial and industrial clients to develop holistic strategies for energy reporting, supply, and management, including GHG emissions reporting and decarbonization strategies across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver clear, analytically supported presentations for client education and advisory on renewable procurement strategies.
  2. Lead client discussions to facilitate stakeholder alignment and strategy development based on client goals, priorities, and constraints.
  3. Demonstrate expertise in market, regulatory, and renewable transactions throughout client engagements.
  4. Maintain understanding of existing and emerging sustainability solutions and their recognition by organizations such as SBTi, RE100, and CDP.
  5. Manage procurement processes for renewable supply and environmental commodities, including sourcing event design, proposal analysis, due diligence, and post-procurement support.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with renewable project developers and environmental commodity sellers.
  7. Provide expert product knowledge, trend insights, and pricing consultation.
  8. Support training and development of colleagues, attend relevant skills training, and maintain certifications.
  9. Perform additional duties such as presales as required.
Skills and Qualifications
  • B.S. or B.A. or equivalent, preferably in business, finance, communications, or economics.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Corporate Renewable Power Purchase Agreements.
  • Experience in client-facing roles at the senior management level.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Strong understanding of European energy markets, regulations, and competitive environment.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and motivation to prove oneself.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • High proficiency in English and international experience.
