Job summary

Siemens Rolling Stock in Goole is seeking a Goods In Inspection Supervisor to lead a small inspection team and ensure incoming materials meet engineering drawings and quality standards. You will drive timely inspection, testing, and release or quarantine decisions to support production.

You will coordinate root cause analysis, liaise with suppliers, and maintain KPI reporting to improve material availability and quality in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse inspection team to meet QA standards.
• Strong knowledge of European quality standards and inspections.
• Ability to present data clearly and drive improvements.
• Experience with warehousing and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Line management of a small team of inspectors and set daily priorities.
• Ensure material entering the warehouse is inspected per quality standards and drawings.
• Coordinate testing, inspection and release or quarantine within SLA.
• Lead resolution of material non-conformances with suppliers and production.
• Produce KPI reports and support data-driven improvements.
• Support warehouse activities and supervise occasionally as needed.
