The Opportunity: As the Global Strategic Planning and Administration Lead, you will oversee strategic planning and administrative activities within our Medical team. Your role involves cross-functional collaboration, providing leadership on non-project initiatives, and ensuring effective communication of Medical Affairs activities across management levels. Your strategic insights will align our goals with Astellas’ Corporate Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of Medical Affairs organizational strategic plans.
  • Lead initiatives related to the Medical Affairs strategic roadmap and produce high-quality reports for management.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to ensure alignment and best practices.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in a global context or consulting.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills.
  • Leadership ability and experience managing priorities in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information and creating compelling narratives.
  • A strategic mindset committed to high performance and impactful results.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and practices.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Science or equivalent.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time role based in the United Kingdom.
  • The role follows our hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Addlestone office, with flexibility based on business needs.
