Do you know how to bring the best out of young players — not just on the pitch, but in their mindset and character?

South London Girls Football Academy is looking for a high-quality coach to lead Saturday morning sessions at our Southwark Centre, based at Burgess Park.

This is a chance to be part of a leading girls football academy delivering elite-level coaching to players aged 4–15 across all ability levels — from grassroots to emerging talent.

Who We’re Looking For:

You’ll be a coach who brings professional standards, energy and empathy to every session. You’ll understand what it takes to develop young players within a structured, player-centred environment — and you’ll be confident delivering sessions to girls working at:

  • Development Centre level
  • Emerging Talent Centre (ETC)
  • Academy level with a professional club

You’ll also be someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and confidently with players and parents
  • Leads with personality, positivity and presence
  • Cares deeply about player development, not just results
Essentials:
  • UEFA C Licence (minimum)
  • FA First Aid in Football (in date)
  • FA Safeguarding Children (in date)
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (in date)
  • Experience working within a structured coaching curriculum
  • Ability to plan and deliver sessions aligned to our academy structure
The Role:

Location: Burgess Park, Southwark
Time: Saturdays, 11:30am–1:30pm
Sessions: 2 x 1-hour sessions (age groups 4–15)
Pay: £25–30 per session (based on experience & qualifications)
Start Date: Immediate
