Lead/ Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Offshore Wind Primary Steel - UK. Geotechnical Design Engineer - Offshore Wind - Primary Steel / Foundation design. Role: Geotechnical - Offshore Wind - Foundations design: Monopiles. Opportunity to work with major offshore wind farms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in projects from conceptual studies through to detailed design, and follow-up monitoring and assessment.
• Work in close relationship with clients, contractors and developers; projects are varied and include the detailed design of offshore wind farms in the UK and Europe.
• Collaborate with other departments and consult with other specialists to drive innovation within the geotechnical field.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in the offshore wind engineering sector.
• Experience of geotechnical engineering; Primary Steel wind turbine experience is desirable.
• Approximately 4 years of relevant experience in offshore geotechnical engineering with a solid knowledge of the discipline.
• Desirable: Monopiles; geotechnics, structures, and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations; team lead/mentor experience; Chartered Engineer; experience with advanced calculation models and FE modeling.
