Job summary

TGS Site Characterization is seeking a highly motivated Senior Geoscientist to support the delivery of Offshore Wind, Site Survey and Carbon Storage projects. Acting as the designated Geoscience Manager on assigned projects, the role ensures that geoscience activities are delivered efficiently, consistently and to the required technical & quality standard.

Responsibilities

Own the geoscience workstream from conception through delivery and closeout in accordance with the TGS project framework.
Maintain the geoscience delivery plan, including schedules, activities, resources, quality review points and deliverable dates.
Coordinate priorities and task allocation for the project geoscience team, monitoring progress and addressing delivery constraints.
Manage geoscience scope, assumptions, technical queries, risks, changes and decisions, ensuring records remain current and trackable.
Provide accurate reporting on progress and forecasts to the Project Owner.
Provide technical management and mentoring of junior geoscientist colleagues.
Manage interfaces with Acquisition, Imaging, Geotechnical and other TGS departments to support efficient project delivery.
Ensure subcontractor and cross-disciplinary inputs are received, reviewed and integrated at the appropriate stage.
