Overview

Senior Functional Consultant - Dynamics 365 BC

The opportunity: I am actively representing a growing Microsoft partner who specialise in supplying Business Central/ ERP solutions across a range of industries. Heading into 2026, my client has won several exciting greenfield projects, and therefore looking to add another skilled consultant to their team; offering a strong understanding of Business Central, alongside competent manufacturing/ supply chain business process understanding. This is a brilliant opportunity to take the lead on fresh BC implementations within a like minded, knowledgeable team environment; with an ethos built around customer satisfaction, and a forward thinking approach to partner based consultancy. This position is home based, with the requirement of occasional travel to customer site - project phase dependant.

Responsibilities

• Lead on fresh Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
• Own the full functional implementation lifecycle (including project analysis, design, FDD writing, testing, training and go-live support).
• Engage with stakeholders and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide guidance/mentoring to consultancy teams on project tasks.
• Participate in integration projects with 3rd party add-ons (e.g., Continia, Jet Reports, Tasklet).
• Apply firm business process/vertical specialisms, particularly in manufacturing and supply chain.
• Travel 2-3 days per week to customer sites across the UK (home based role).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong functional knowledge and understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proven experience across the full implementation lifecycle (analysis, design, FDD, testing, training, go-live support).
• Strong stakeholder/customer engagement skills with the ability to drive project delivery.
• Experience with integrations to 3rd party add-ons such as Continia, Jet Reports, Tasklet.
• Experience guiding/mentoring consultancy teams on project tasks.
• Firm business process/vertical specialisms in manufacturing and supply chain.
• Open to candidates from MS Gold Partner or End User environments, with flexibility to travel 2-3 days per week to customer sites.
