Job summary

Carrington Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer/Lead Developer for a fast-growing professional services organisation. The role is mainly remote with occasional Leeds office visits and light travel to other offices.

You will lead a small development team, set engineering standards and deliver technology solutions across C#, .NET, Python, React and Azure, embracing AI-enabled tools and GenAI to accelerate delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full stack Lead Engineer/Lead Developer with leadership ability.
• Experience across modern engineering, cloud technologies and digital delivery.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools like Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Leading a small development team across a portfolio of applications.
• Being hands-on while also shaping delivery and engineering standards.
• Working with Product Managers and business teams to prioritise and allocate work.
• Delivering both strategic and tactical technology solutions.
• Applying modern DevOps and exploring emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
