Job summary

Telent Technology Services Ltd in Farnborough is seeking a Fortinet Principal Engineer to lead the design and delivery of secure Fortinet SD-WAN solutions for enterprise and public sector clients.

You will act as SME for Fortinet technologies, shape high-level and low-level designs, mentor engineers, and ensure architectures meet SLAs and regulatory standards. Hybrid role requiring in-office presence ~2 days a month with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Fortinet SD-WAN design and delivery expertise
• Fortinet Expert Certification (FCSS) required
• Strong network security knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, zero trust)
• Experience leading technical design and mentoring across projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of Fortinet SD-WAN solutions for enterprise and public sector clients
• Define scalable architectures and ensure alignment with SLAs and regulatory standards
• Act as SME for Fortinet technologies and provide guidance to engineers and architects
• Produce high and low level designs and technical design documentation
• Drive best practices in network design, security integration and automation
