Are you a passionate and experienced Food Technology teacher ready to take the next step in your career? Beginning September 2025.

Duties as Lead Food Technology Teacher:

Lead and develop an engaging, forward-thinking Food Technology curriculum.

Inspire and motivate students to develop practical skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of nutrition and food science.

Support and mentor team members, sharing best practice and fostering professional development.

Take responsibility for departmental outcomes, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress.

Promote a safe, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment within a well-resourced food technology suite.

Ideal Lead Food Technology Teacher:

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Food Technology.

Proven track record of excellent classroom teaching and strong student outcomes.

Experience of curriculum planning, assessment and delivering GCSE (and/or BTEC) qualifications.

A commitment to raising aspirations and achievement across all key stages as Lead Food Technology Teacher.

Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative and supportive approach.
