Job summary

Booker Group is seeking an experienced Fish Supervisor to run the Fish Department as their own business. The role requires leadership, customer focus, and in-depth knowledge of fish handling and yields.

You will work 5 days a week, including 1 in 3 weekends, and will be accountable for cash profit and sales growth in a busy retail wholesale environment. Previous ownership or management of a fish operation is desirable, with a strong emphasis on food safety, team training, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience running a Fish Department.
• Strong customer service and cutting skills.
• Commercial awareness of yields and costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure department complies with legal and company standards.
• Engage with customers and build relationships to understand their needs.
• Manage and train Fishmongers; develop new and existing customers.
