Job Description

We are expanding our consulting team and are looking for Lead F&O Consultants, specialising in Commerce and Point of Sale, to join us on our exciting journey and be part of the Hitachi Solutions family.

The main responsibilities of a Lead Functional Consultant at Hitachi Solutions include:

  1. Developing strong, long-lasting business relationships with clients by building trust and confidence.
  2. Working directly with clients to understand their business processes and define project deliverables.
  3. Utilising specialist knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics to support the development and expansion of Dynamics Finance & Operations.
  4. Applying expertise in the retail/commerce industry.
  5. Creating innovative approaches to improve or replace existing processes and procedures.
  6. Designing bespoke F&O solutions, including complex integrations, significant module changes, or new modules.
  7. Writing detailed functional specifications.
  8. Serving as the communication bridge between functional and technical teams to facilitate solution development.
  9. Managing large work streams effectively to stay within scope, schedule, and budget.
  10. Guiding Project Managers and keeping them informed of progress.

The qualifications required include:

  1. A strong ERP background.
  2. Knowledge of best practices in retail and commerce industries.
  3. Specialism in the commerce module, with strong Point of Sale knowledge.
  4. A logical, structured approach to problem-solving and change management.
  5. Experience with at least two full lifecycle ERP implementations.
  6. Familiarity with ERP implementation methodologies.
  7. Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
  8. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
