The role blends hands-on engineering with leading a small team, spending around 70% in the field and 30% supporting and mentoring colleagues.You'll service, maintain and repair forklifts, diagnose complex faults, and drive performance for a regional team of 3-4 engineers. Qualifications

• Senior Field Service Engineer background for forklifts or plant.
• Experience leading or mentoring small teams.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of forklifts and materials handling equipment.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
• Provide technical guidance to a team of 3-4 Field Engineers.
• Escalation point for advanced diagnostics and recurring issues.
• Manage your own customer base, servicing schedules and breakdowns.
• Support team performance, workload planning, and first-time fix rates.
