Role Description

Flourishing Families Assessment Centre is recruiting support workers for the role of Lead Family Practitioner in Reading. The centre specializes in Family Court directed Parenting Assessments. Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Registered Manager to ensure best practice and child-focused approaches
  • Safeguarding children and families within the Assessment Centre
  • Managing daily operations to ensure safety and wellbeing
  • Building trusting relationships with children and families
  • Supporting children and families holistically to achieve better outcomes
  • Supporting a range of children with complex needs
  • Serving as the main contact for families
  • Coordinating actions based on assessments and plans
  • Ensuring families understand processes and contribute to assessments
  • Implementing and reviewing family plans regularly
  • Coordinating practitioners to ensure consistent services
Additional Responsibilities
  • Providing supervision and training for staff
  • Delivering in-house training sessions
  • Chairing weekly case review meetings
  • Quality assurance of reports and documentation
  • Participating in on-call duties outside of hours
  • Preparing reports and attending multi-agency meetings
Person Specification
