Job summary

Linear Recruitment is seeking an experienced Temporary Facades Site Manager to oversee re-cladding on a major mixed-use entertainment complex in Birmingham. The role focuses on initial low-rise works, progressing to high-rise sections, with a strong emphasis on safe, quality delivery and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in facade, cladding or building envelope sectors.
• Demonstrable experience delivering re-cladding, facade installation or external envelope refurbishment.
• Strong technical knowledge of facade systems and installation methods.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and delivering works to programme.
• Solid understanding of health and safety, QA and site management procedures.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of facade re-cladding works across low-rise then high-rise sections.
• Coordinate specialist facade subcontractors, site operatives, deliveries and logistics.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Monitor progress against programme and implement solutions to avoid delays.
• Maintain health, safety, quality and site housekeeping standards.
• Review RAMS, perform site inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate access equipment and temporary works as needed.
• Work with Project Manager and clients to ensure smooth coordination.
