Job Title: Lead Fabric Maintenance Technician

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Lead Fabric Maintenance Technician to join the team located in London.

Role Summary:

• Respond effectively to internal and external customers through communication and accessibility, understanding and delivering their needs while building relationships.
• Represent CBRE values and behaviors, maintaining a professional image and promoting excellent customer service.
• Participate actively in team meetings and discussions.
• Ensure compliance with company, client site policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
• Manage supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments, QHSE processes, and site procedures. Provide feedback on My Supplier.
• Obtain supplier quotations, secure client approval, and instruct suppliers to commence works following procedures.
• Book and oversee subcontractor visits, ensuring remedial actions are quoted and completed.
• Maintain up-to-date COSHH inventory, Risk Assessments, and MSDS, ensuring they are signed and understood by the team.
• Ensure the team and subcontractors have the necessary training and competencies, scheduling any required training timely.
• Support recruitment within the Fabric team and provide performance feedback.
• Understand contract requirements such as visitor management, change requests, and parking.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices within the team.

Experience Required:

• Trade-related qualification such as Carpentry, Electrical, or Plumbing.

Skills / Training:

• Awareness of Health & Safety obligations in Facilities Management.
• Knowledge of building services.
• Recognized building fabric qualification.

Experience:

• Experience in corporate and industrial facilities maintenance.
• Reactive and planned fabric maintenance experience.

Aptitudes:

• Strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent verbal and basic written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, systematic, able to work in a team, take initiative, and work independently.
