Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Principal Examiner for iAL Mechanics (WME) to uphold and standardise assessment standards across external units. You will oversee standardisation, lead pre-standardisation and standardisation meetings, and supervise examiner quality assurance processes.

You'll collaborate with Assessment teams, prepare materials, and contribute to awarding activities, writing reports and ensuring timely delivery of contracted units while maintaining Pearson's professional integrity and high

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of quality assurance and assessment practice.
• History of moderation and/or marking a regulated qualification.
• Provide examples of when you were asked to lead/support essential quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the standardisation of Examiners.
• Lead meetings such as pre-standardisation and standardisation.
• Prepare and collate materials for standardisation.
• Support supervisors and Examiners.
• Submit reports on the series/candidate performance and write reports to the Awarding Committee.
