Job summary

Job Title: Lead Exams Invigilator

Location: The Milton Keynes Academy

Salary: £15.10 p/h

Contract Type: Zero Hours contract

About You:

The Milton Keynes Academy is seeking a dedicated, organised and professional individual to join our team as Lead Exams Invigilator. This is a key role in ensuring that examinations are conducted efficiently, fairly and in accordance with awarding body regulations. You will be committed to supporting students, maintaining high standards and contributing positively to the Academy's culture and values.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

Excellent organisational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.

The ability to remain calm, professional and confident when working under pressure.

Experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational environment.

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

The ability to work independently whilst also contributing positively as part of a team.

A flexible and proactive approach to work, particularly during busy examination periods.

High levels of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

The confidence to supervise examination environments and ensure procedures are followed consistently.

A genuine desire to support students in achieving their full potential.

Our Exams Support Team works together to ensure examinations run smoothly, efficiently and in line with regulations. Made up of a dedicated team of invigilators and our Exams and Data Officer, the team is supportive, collaborative and committed to providing the best possible experience for students. By working closely together, we create a calm and organised environment that helps students perform at their best.
