Job Summary

This is an exciting new position for an experienced Product Marketing Manager with consumer goods experience to join the PowerA & Kensington European team.

This role will oversee all aspects of product management related to our PowerA Gaming product lines and channels. It requires prior sales and marketing experience in the gaming industry, with the ability to derive deep customer-driven category and market insights and translate these into effective go-to-market plans for controllers, cases, PC gaming, charging, and VR accessories.

The successful candidate will deliver an EMEA-focused product roadmap, ensure proper positioning, manage launch plans, demand generation, forecasting, pricing, sales training, and customer presentations.

This role involves understanding local market and customer requirements and working closely with the PowerA Global Product Management and Development teams to meet these needs. As the category expert, this role will align closely with the sales team to guide them in focusing on target areas and enable success.

Previous experience within retail and consumer goods is essential. The candidate will be involved in identifying consumer-led business opportunities, pitching product proposals, and delivering products suited to our markets.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for the PowerA gaming category and products within EMEA
  • Achieve business category goals in sales revenue, margin, and market share
  • Serve as the internal and external expert for the gaming product category
  • Partner with global teams to ensure the vision and needs for EMEA are integrated into global launch strategies
  • Coordinate with marketing teams on messaging, content, packaging, web assets, etc.
  • Manage new product introduction and pricing processes aligned with launch schedules
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies to drive sales and demand
  • Build relationships with retail customers and identify business development opportunities
  • Deliver product training, presentations, and support as needed
  • Oversee product lifecycle, data maintenance, and compliance requirements
  • Align with sales and supply chain on forecasts and inventory management
  • Manage category margins through pricing and promotional activities

Qualifications

  • Proven retail and consumer product management experience
  • Customer-facing sales or account management experience
  • Project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills
  • Experience leading projects and product launches
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and independent work ethic
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of current technology trends and consumer technology use
  • Numerical skills for data analysis and strategic recommendations
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
Desirable
  • Knowledge of a second European language
  • Ambitious, flexible, eager to learn
  • Experience in Gaming or PC accessories sectors
  • Active gamer
