Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Principal Systems Administrator to provide technical guidance, design and administration for key business infrastructure. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, experience supporting enterprise applications, and a solid grasp of IT project management.

You will deliver advanced technical solutions, act as an advisor to management and customers on research studies, and lead system administration initiatives across 24/7 operations with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Extensive systems administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience implementing and supporting core business applications.
• Familiarity with ITIL/AGILE/SCRUM project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and design for enterprise infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot systems to maintain 24/7 service availability.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades and issue resolution.
• Lead on-call duties and rosters for out-of-hours support.
• Drive development of new principles and concepts for the systems landscape.
