Job summary

Panda is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to shape the technical architecture underpinning our applications, integrations, data platforms, and cloud services. You will translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solutions while aligning with our IT strategy.

This technical design and governance role does not include project delivery or operational support, but it requires strong leadership across engineering, delivery, product, cyber security, and data teams.

Qualifications

Significant experience as a Solution Architect in a complex enterprise environment.
Strong experience designing distributed and integrated technology solutions.
Deep understanding of application, integration and data architecture.
Experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of API design, messaging and integration architecture.
Proven ability to produce clear architecture documentation and designs.
Understanding of security-by-design, resilience, and disaster recovery.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments and leading architecture governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of enterprise solutions across applications, integrations, cloud platforms and data services.
Translate business requirements into clear solution architectures and technical designs.
Assess options balancing cost, complexity, scalability and long-term value.
Ensure solutions meet security, resilience, performance and operational requirements.
Maintain architectural integrity from concept through implementation.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and specialists.
Lead architecture reviews through the Technology Design Authority.
Maintain documentation, patterns and technology standards.
