Job Description

Lead Enterprise Salesforce Architect

London (1 day per week on-site)

£110,000 – £120,000 + £4,000 car allowance + 15% bonus + full benefits

A global consultancy is growing its Salesforce capability and looking for a senior architect to help steer its largest and most complex engagements. This is a role for someone who enjoys shaping solutions from the top down—partnering with enterprise clients, guiding strategic roadmaps, and driving end-to-end delivery across multiple Salesforce clouds.

You’ll be embedded with major household brands as a trusted advisor, leading architectural strategy, technical execution, and transformation outcomes. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring the next wave of architects and helping build one of the UK’s most ambitious Salesforce consulting practices.

What you’ll be doing as a Lead Enterprise Salesforce Architect

• Serve as the lead architect on major engagements, aligning delivery teams, clients, and stakeholders

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions

• Design across the Salesforce platform: Sales, Service, Commerce, Data Cloud, Integration, and more

• Identify risks in solution and business design and provide proactive mitigation strategies

• Guide the evaluation of technology options including security, integration, compliance, and data migration

• Oversee architectural governance and review key deliverables across engagements

• Partner with project and programme leads to align on delivery approach and project planning

• Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, from delivery teams to CxO level

• Lead and mentor teams across technical delivery, communication strategies, and stakeholder influence

• Support pre-sales efforts, working with pursuit teams to shape winning proposals and transition architectures

• Contribute to internal innovation initiatives and actively support the growth of the practice

What you’ll bring to the table

• 12+ years’ experience in architecture and digital transformation within a consulting environment

• Deep hands-on experience designing across Salesforce Sales, Service, Commerce, and Data Cloud

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and integration tools (e.g., AWS, MDM, ESBs, ETL)

• Proven track record leading Salesforce implementations from architecture through to delivery

• Ability to define system and transition architectures, process optimisation, and solution design

• Strong communication skills—able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike

• Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange, SSO, data security, and compliance patterns

• Comfortable with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; SAFe certification is a bonus

• Salesforce certifications (Application/System Architect, Industries, etc.) highly

• Experience in hands-on Salesforce development and enterprise coded solutions is a big plus

• Previous experience as a CIO/CTO or senior architect in a large matrixed organisation would be a major advantage

What’s in it for you?

• £110,000 – £120,000 base salary

• £4,000 car allowance + 15% bonus

• Flexible hybrid working model – just one day per week in London

• Continuous personal development and Salesforce certification support

• A wide range of wellbeing and family-friendly benefits

• A culture built around inclusivity, equity, and innovation

This is a rare opportunity to lead complex Salesforce engagements while shaping the future of an ambitious consulting practice. If you're looking for real architectural ownership and enterprise impact—this is it.
