A leading company in the UK's IT sector seeks a Lead Enterprise Architect to drive design, implementation, and compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks within the Defence Sector. You will collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that applications meet MOD security standards while delivering innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
As the Lead Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise architecture framework. You will provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the IT teams and work closely with business stakeholders to align the enterprise architecture with the organisation's goals and objectives. You will also develop and maintain the architecture roadmap, technology standards, and policies, ensuring that they are in line with industry best practices and comply with relevant regulations and standards. This role is a leadership position in the vast and expanding programme dedicated to the development of ongoing solutions within the Defence Sector.
The programme is delivering an application to digitalise and automate the planning and scheduling of training courses, and the iPad Mobile Device Management project is enabling the transformation of training course content to be digitally enabled and interactive for instructors and trainees.
