Job description

Empowering Learning is seeking to appoint a Lead English Teacher (Qualified or Unqualified) to work within a Secondary School in Birmingham.

High Daily Rate?

£190 - £250 per day

A proven track record of delivering GCSE results is required. TLR offered for the right candidate.

ECTs and Unqualified Teachers are welcome to apply.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  1. Teaching & delivering the GCSE English curriculum
  2. Focusing on providing high-quality English lessons daily
  3. Participating in SLT team meetings and contributing to key decisions within the English department
  4. Dedicated PPA time allocated
  5. Opportunities for progression with additional TLR

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience working within a secondary school English department
  • Leadership experience within a school setting
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting students to reach their full potential
  • Experience working with students with learning difficulties (SEN)
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
