What you'll be involved in:

The Lead Engineer – Test Camera role involves leading the planning, execution, and delivery of Space Imaging’s Test Camera platforms, aligned with the project lifecycle.

The test camera platforms are used for operating and testing our current and next-generation imaging sensors.

This role requires a multidisciplinary engineer to oversee various functional engineering teams' contributions to the test camera design and manufacturing, while applying project management skills to deliver work packages.

  1. Lead the delivery of our internally designed test camera platforms on time, within budget, and to quality standards, with regular status updates and escalation support as needed.
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams and utilize project management techniques to deliver project work packages.
  3. Provide engineering governance throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Manage, maintain, and deliver the Engineering Management Plan for the internal test camera equipment, following lifecycle management principles.
  5. Manage project requirements, maintaining the compliance and verification matrix (CVM), ensuring scope clarity and control.
  6. Manage technical risks and opportunities related to the test camera project, including mitigation activities.
  7. Ensure configuration control for the technical aspects of the test camera.
  8. Create detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project and publish into MS Project Server.
  9. Manage project budget and procurement of parts.

  • Experience with manufacturing techniques, setting requirements, qualification, verification, and testing.
