Overview

Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare, is seeking a Lead Engineer to join our Engineering department at Sarum Road Hospital in Winchester. This full-time role requires the candidate to reside locally, as the position is based at the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital.
• Manage and report on R & M budgets, including review and commentary.
• Lead environmental and energy reduction initiatives.
• Offer technical, health, safety, and environmental support to hospital staff and project managers.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop operational management tools.
• Coordinate with regional managers to support engineering issues.
• Support cluster sites for on-call duties and cover for absences or vacancies.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience managing engineering maintenance environments and working independently.
• Line management experience with site engineers.
• Current CSCS card; ECS card if electrically qualified.
• City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical discipline preferred.
• Fire safety or risk assessment training desirable.
• Understanding of quality management, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and laws.
