Skanska Building Services are a leader in facilities management, trusted by top-tier clients across critical sectors, including Defence, Education, and Healthcare. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to supervise maintenance and fault analysis of Mechanical Building Operations.

What you'll do:

  • Review the health and status of critical building systems and report on site resilience.
  • Issue and manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with contract requirements.
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks as per contract.
  • Handle additional requests and project tasks.
  • Deliver cost savings through process efficiencies.
  • Manage subcontractors and review their work.
  • Manage team and ensure individual health and safety compliance.
  • Attend site promptly as part of the site call-out rota.

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of Mechanical/Electrical City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • Experience working in an FM or Building Services environment.
  • Experience with BMS and critical building systems.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification.
  • Experience managing and leading engineers and subcontractors.
