Job summary

IOActive, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Device Security Consultant to perform high-end security evaluations on embedded devices from a globally distributed expert team. You will work with other professionals to deliver top-tier results for IOActive's clients around the world.

Applicants should have deep knowledge in C, Java, assembly, cryptography, and security concepts. The role is on-site at our Cheltenham security lab, with opportunities for travel and collaboration across multiple labs.

Qualifications

• Experienced in embedded security evaluations across devices and platforms.
• Proficient in C/assembly, cryptography, and security protocols.
• Ability to communicate complex vulnerabilities to diverse client teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate attack paths from code reviews and test results.
• Develop advanced attacks for embedded products.
• Create tools to support project goals and deliverables.
• Explain vulnerabilities clearly to technical and non-technical staff.
• Research new attack vectors and exploit techniques.
• Promote IOActive Labs through content and outreach.
• Assist in scoping engagements for business development.
