Job summary

Zenovo are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join their Cambridge team and drive the technical development of next-generation connected devices. The role spans electronics, embedded systems, wireless and IoT, with ownership of technical direction, architecture and cross-functional coordination across Product, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, suppliers and external partners.

Qualifications

10+ years’ experience developing multidisciplinary, connected or technology-led products.
Experience with wireless, IoT and connected device architectures.
Strong systems thinking and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary technical decisions across electronics, embedded software, wireless and system integration.
Manage product performance, reliability, battery life, cost and manufacturability to meet requirements.
Assess technical feasibility, complexity and risk for new features and future products.
Define validation strategies, acceptance criteria and system-level verification.
Lead technical delivery from concept through development, validation and launch.
Coordinate activities with internal teams, suppliers and external partners with clear milestones.
Support product strategy through field data and customer feedback.
