Job summary

Zenovo are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join their Cambridge team and drive the technical development of next-generation connected devices. The role spans electronics, embedded systems, wireless and IoT, with ownership of technical direction, architecture and cross-functional coordination across Product, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, suppliers and external partners.

You will lead delivery from concept through development, validation and mass production, balancing

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience developing multidisciplinary, connected or technology-led products.
• Experience with wireless, IoT and connected device architectures.
• Strong systems thinking and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary technical decisions across electronics, embedded software, wireless and system integration.
• Manage product performance, reliability, battery life, cost and manufacturability to meet requirements.
• Assess technical feasibility, complexity and risk for new features and future products.
• Define validation strategies, acceptance criteria and system-level verification.
• Lead technical delivery from concept through development, validation and launch.
• Coordinate activities with internal teams, suppliers and external partners with clear milestones.
• Support product strategy through field data and customer feedback.
